Electronic Pop Culture is Back in Print!
Presenting Electrozombies #01 — International Synthpop Magazine (First Edition) : Reviews, Interviews and other topics around synth pop, and dark wave genre related.Since 2010, Electrozombies have been the digital home for fans of synth pop, dark wave, future pop and EBM. With the debut of this 108 page quarterly magazine, they bring the aesthetics and depth of the scene back to where it belongs: in your hands.
Parralox were asked to submit their Top 5 albums (narrowing it down to just 5 was a very difficult task!) for inclusion in the debut edition of the magazine. We were of course very humbled and grateful to be asked 🙏. Our choices appear on Page 83 in "The Source Code" section. Many of you will be surprised to see what they are.
We won't show the entire article, as we want you to buy the magazine and support independent artists and publishers 😎
Contents of this first edition of the Electrozombies magazine include:
★ The Source Code. Top 5 albums of: John von Ahlen (Parralox), Chris Brandon (Synthpop Fanatic) and Thomas Frenken (Electrozombies).
★ Interviews: Jason Grishkoff (SubmitHub), Raphael Beck (darkTunes), and Gerrit Thomas (Fictional).
★ Reviews: Mesh, Blackbook, Ladytron, Depeche Mode’s live album 'M', Fictional and Emmon.
★ Special Topic: Explore our expertly curated guide to the absolute best synth pop gems of 2025.
