22:27 – I just got off the phone with Petra, we spoke for a while about the planned cruise for November, but it looks like it's not going ahead now as we both have things popping up at that time. We will re-schedule for next year. Louise came and recorded vocals for this track at 1635. Well, thats when she arrived at the studio. I had spent the prior couple of hours trying to work out why the studio computer had no sound. I tried everything, I reinstalled the drivers and updated the firmware etc. Tried a million things, and then I think after I reseated all the connections to the soundcard it finally worked. At literally 1630 hours, a few minutes before Louise arrived! I was annoyed because I wasted so much time on the soundcard when I could have been programming.
Earlier in the day I went for a nice long walk with Jack around the city, and we met some lovely dogs and people.
It's now 2230 as I continue typing. After I dropped off Louise at the tram stop, I went for a walk and recorded a video message for Billie Ray Martin (she left a message a few days ago and I was slack replying). Billie's message was pretty amazing. She left 5x five minute voice messages and it was a story! I feel like writing a song about it. David Lynch would be proud I think. Then I came back to the studio and worked on the actual music for the track. Louise had only sung to the guide track, so now I am literally building the music up from scratch. I think I am 75% of the way.

23:47 - I'm printing V1

02:21 - I worked on the track a bit more and now printing V2. I am sooo hungry. I forgot to have breakfast, lunch and dinner!! But I have some delicious Moussaka and Galaktoboureka that Fay D made for me. It's the stuff of dreams.
